ITPEC exams held across Myanmar for IT professionals
THE Information Technology Professionals
Examination Council (ITPEC) exams, recognized by seven countries, were held
simultaneously on 27 April in Yangon Region, Mandalay Region, Magway Region
and Kayin State.
These exams were organized by the
Myanmar Computer Professionals Association under the leadership of the
Myanmar Computer Federation to promote development in information and
communication technology.
A total of 370 candidates sat for the
Information Technology Passport Examination (IT Passport), while 763
candidates took part in the Fundamental Information Technology Engineer
Examination (FE).
ITPEC exams are held twice a year, and
the October 2024 session saw 733 individuals pass nationwide. These exams are
recognized by Japan, Vietnam, the Philippines, Thailand, Mongolia and Bangladesh.
