269 Afghan nationals released from Pakistan, return home
A total of 269 Afghan nationals who were held
in Pakistan's prisons have been set free and repatriated to their homeland
Afghanistan on Thursday, reported the local media outlet Tolonews on Friday.
The former inmates
including women and children who had spent three months in different jails in
Pakistan were handed over to Afghan authorities at the Torkham crossing point,
the private media outlet added.
Pakistan has set free
hundreds of Afghan inmates over the past six months. Islamabad has also asked
