KTCG invites visitors to record and enjoy beauty of nature and bird species




THE Kyonkapyin-Tatseik Wildlife Conservation Group (KTCG) announced that visi­tors are welcomed to record the natural beauty and bird species in their conservation area.


The Kyonkapyin-Tatseik Wildlife Conservation area is home to many rare species including sarus crane, yel­low-breasted bunting, Cinnyris asiaticus, Asian Openbill and Great Cormorant.


In this area, there are vari­ous types of birds that migrate according to the weather, in­cluding Myanmar indigenous species, migratory birds in the rainy season to breed, those only visible in winter and some rare birds.


The Kyonkapyin-Tatseik Wildlife Conservation area is located in Shwelaung Station, Wakema Township, Ayeyawady Region. Visitors are invited to come and enjoy recording the bird species in a comprehen­sive manner. The KTCG is involved in educational activ­ities such as erecting boards to spread awareness about wetland conservation and con­necting with schools to raise awareness. — MT/ZN
