DPTOA plans second study tour to Ayeyawady Region
THE Domestic Pilgrimage and Tour
Operator Association (DPTOA) will arrange a second study tour to the Ayeyawady
Region, according to U Myo Thein Kyaw, Joint Secretary General of the DPTOA.
During the study tour, participants
will visit Manaungmyin Buddha Image of the Zalun Pyitawpyan Pagoda, one of the
four Buddha images in the Ayeyawady Region, and the relic of Arhat U Sila. They
will also visit the Kyaik Kalunpoon Pagoda and the tomb of General Maha
Bandoola in Danubyu Township. Additionally, they plan to visit the Nathmaw
Shwethalyaung Pagoda, Kyauktawgyi Pagoda, U Pa Ye Pagoda, and the Five-Faced
Pagoda in Hinthada Township.
“This is the second trip organized by
our association in the Ayeyawady Region. The first trip drew 200 participants.
We will continue to organize such tours,” said U Myo Thein Kyaw.
The one-day study tour to the Ayeyawady
Region will be conducted using highway express buses with capacities of 35 and
45 passengers. The round-trip cost is K40,000 per person. Services include purified
drinking water, guidebooks for the trip, travel insurance, and tour leaders who
will accompany participants throughout the journey.
The trip will depart from the DPTOA
office at No 4 at the corner of Merchant Street and Sandaku Street in
Botahtaung Township of Yangon on 27 July. — ASH/TH
