Kachin State Completes Planting of 167,039 Acres of Rain-Fed Paddy for 2025-2026 FY

Kachin State has planted 167,039 acres of rain-fed paddy out of a targeted 509,722 acres for the 2025–2026 fiscal year, according to the State Department of Agriculture. The planting was completed by the first week of July.

In the 2024–2025 fiscal year, a total of 511,307 acres of paddy were planted across the state, including 474,477 acres of rain-fed paddy. — District IPRD
