MoE Deputy Minister joins Guizhou-ASEAN education pre-meeting

A Myanmar delegation led by Deputy Minister for Education U Nay Myo Hlaing arrived in Guiyang, Guizhou Province, People’s Republic of China, on 24 July to attend the 2025 China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week.

During a visit to Guizhou University yesterday morning, university officials provided the deputy minister and his delegation with an overview of the institution’s past and present academic activities. The deputy minister asked questions and sought clarification on topics of interest. Afterwards, the group toured the university’s classrooms, research laboratories, and libraries.

In the afternoon, the deputy minister attended a pre-meeting with the Guizhou Provincial Government and education leaders from ASEAN countries in preparation for the 2025 China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week.

In the evening, the deputy minister and other ASEAN participants attended the China-ASEAN Cultural Exchange Event.

The 2025 China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week will be held from 24 to 27 July. — MNA/ MKKS
