Myanmar Interfaith Dialogue Organization plants trees in 2025 rainy season
THE 2025 rainy season tree-planting
ceremony of the Myanmar Interfaith Dialogue Organization was held yesterday
morning at designated locations in Mayangon, Thingangyun, and Hlegu districts
of Yangon Region.
First, the ceremony took place at the
Dagon Thiri Fish Pond in the precinct of Kaba Aye Pagoda, Mayangon Township,
Yangon Region, where the officials of the organization (Central and Yangon
Region) and relevant officials collectively planted 300 trees.
Next, a total of 200 saplings were
planted in the courtyard of Thuwunna MyoOo Pagoda in Thingangyun District,
Yangon Region.
Similarly, in the courtyard of Hpa-auk
Tawya Monastery in Hlegu District, Yangon Region, the chairman of the Yangon Region
Organization, along with officials and members of the district and township
branches of the organization, planted a total of 300 trees. — MNA/TH
