Tree Planting Event Held at Pyay Education Degree College

The second district-level tree planting event, organized by the Pyay District Management and Administration Committee of Bago Region, was held this morning on the campus of Pyay Education Degree College.

To begin the event, Brigadier General Soe Oo Han distributed saplings to Dr. Min Min Thein, Principal of the college, while U Thein Aung, Chairman of the Pyay District Management and Administration Committee, handed saplings to students.

A total of 750 participants—including Brigadier General Soe Oo Han and his team, committee members, officials from district and township-level departments, local residents, as well as the principal, teachers, and students of the college—collectively planted 1,100 saplings.

The planted trees included: 660 Tamar, 54 Pyinma, 54 Padauk, 54 Mahogany, 54 Pyinkadoe, 54 Kantkaw and 116 Kayay.— Ko Sit (IPRD)
