Emerald Green Project Funds Disbursed in Nyaung-U Township

A second round of Emerald Green Project fund disbursement took place on 13 October in Shinmein Village, Nyaung-U Township, Mandalay Region.

A local official from the Township Department of Rural Development began the event by explaining the purpose of the Emerald Green Project and the rules that recipients of the funds must follow.

A total of K32.7 million was then disbursed to 64 members of the village Emerald Green Project Committee, including 56 engaged in agriculture, six in livestock breeding, and four in small-scale trading.— Ye Win Naing (Nyaung-U)
