Taunggyi-Pawmu-Taunggyi sightseeing train trip to operate from 1 Nov

The Taunggyi-Pawmu-Taunggyi
sightseeing train trip is slated to operate from 1 to 4 November so that
home-grown visitors and tourists will enjoy the train journey with the
enchanting scenic view of Taunggyi city during the Taunggyi Tazaungdine Hot-air
Balloon Festival.
The train will depart from Taunggyi
station at 9 am and stop for 30 minutes at Htithein Station to enjoy the
breathtaking view near Bawathanthaya Roundabout.  The train will leave from Pawmu station at
11:15 am in the afternoon and arrive at Taunggyi station at 12:30 pm.
During the scenic train journey,
the passengers will enjoy the ride by observing the stunning views of the
Taunggyi hot-air balloon compound, city view, forests, lush green fields,
Htithein Pagoda, collapsed Pagodas and other incredible attractions.
Furthermore, Thazi-Shwenyaung
passenger trains will also extend the journey to Taunggyi. The 141 Up train
will depart from Thazi railway station at 5 am and arrive at Taunggyi station
at 6:30 pm, while the 142 Down train will leave Taunggyi station at 6 am and
arrive at Thazi station at 7:30 am, stopping at each station on the route. —
