Myanmar EPS recruits land in S Korea to warm embassy welcome
A total of seventy-one Myanmar workers sent to
the Republic of Korea through the Government Overseas Employment Agency
under the EPS system arrived at Incheon International Airport on Korean Air
flight KE492 on 25 November.
The group included 41 re-entry workers, 24
new manufacturing workers, and six new agriculture and livestock workers. When
they arrived at the airport, Chargé d’Affaires ad interim/Ambassador U Myo Myint
Maung welcomed them warmly via video call and advised the newly arrived
workers to contact the embassy at any time should they encounter any
difficulties.
Furthermore, the labour attaché from the Myanmar
Embassy in Seoul welcomed the workers at Incheon International Airport,
briefed them on important guidelines, and provided assistance where required.
According to data from the Myanmar Embassy,
approximately 250 Myanmar workers were sent to the Republic of Korea through
