Ngaputaw benefits from ongoing Tatmadaw mobile medical services
THE Tatmadaw mobile medical team, comprising medical experts, doctors and nurses, is travelling aboard the Tatmadaw Naval Hospital Ship Thanlwin to provide healthcare services in Cocokyun Township in Yangon Region and Hainggyikyun Township in Ayeyawady Region.
The team left Kyonku Village yesterday morning and arrived in Ngaputaw, where departmental officials, residents, teachers, students and other local people warmly welcomed them.
Yesterday, the medical team set up its operations at the Township Public Health Department in Ngaputaw and provided healthcare services to 352 residents.
The team treated 64 medical patients, 38 surgical patients, 15 obstetrics and gynaecology patients, 28 paediatric patients, 51 orthopaedic patients, 30 ENT patients, 72 ophthalmology patients and 54 dental and oral health patients.
The team also conducted examinations and treatments for five general surgery patients, eight eye surgery patients, four x-ray patients, 71 ultrasound patients, 38 ECG patients, and 27 laboratory test patients.
