Tatmadaw seagoing hospital vessel continues medical services in Ngayokkaung
TATMADAW’S seagoing hospital ship
‘Thanlwin’, accompanied by mobile specialist medical teams, has been
providing healthcare services to residents in Ngayokkaung, Ngaputaw Township,
Ayeyawady Region yesterday. They were warmly welcomed by local officials, residents,
teachers, and students.
The mobile medical team based their
operations at the Station Hospital in Ngayokkaung and provided healthcare services
to 475 locals. Treatment included 121 general illnesses, 56 surgical cases, 22
obstetric cases, 19 paediatric cases, 93 orthopaedic cases, 31 ENT cases, 80
eye cases, and 53 dental cases.
Among them, four patients received
general surgery, four had x-rays, 64 underwent ultrasound scans, 54 had ECG
examinations, and 35 received laboratory tests.
Furthermore, arrangements were made for
one patient requiring further treatment to be referred to Mingaladon Defence
