Graduation dinner honours 67th Intake of Defence Services Academy
The graduation dinner to honour the 67th Intake of the Defence
Services Academy was held yesterday evening at the mess hall of the Anawrahta
Battalion of the DSA in PyinOoLwin. The ceremony was attended by Senior
General Min Aung Hlaing, Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission
and Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, and his wife, Daw Kyu Kyu Hla.
Also present at the dinner were
Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Htein Win and his wife, Commander-in-Chief
(Air) General Tun Aung and his wife, senior Tatmadaw officers from the Office
of the Commander-in-Chief and their wives, Union-level dignitaries and Union
Ministers and their wives, the Chief Minister of Mandalay Region, commanders,
the DSA commandant, officials of the PyinOoLwin Station, parents and relatives
of the graduating officers, and other guests.
The Senior General cordially greeted the
graduating officers and had dinner together with them and the other
dignitaries. During the dinner, the Senior General and the dignitaries enjoyed
musical performances by the Myawady Entertainment Troupe. — MNA/TH
