Myanmar delegates attend Launch of South-East Asia Primary Learning Metrics-2024 Main Regional Report
THE Myanmar delegation, led by Deputy
Minister for Education U Nay Myo Hlaing, attended the Launch of the (SouthEast
Asia Primary Learning Metrics) SEA-PLM 2024 Main Regional Report held at Hilton
Manila Newport World Resorts in Manila, the Philippines, yesterday.
Union Minister for Education Dr Chaw
Chaw Sein sent a video message to the event, highlighting the key role of
SEA-PLM in the ASEAN education framework and commitment to work together with
ASEAN member countries to ensure equality and growth in the education sector.
Deputy Minister U Nay Myo Hlaing then
appreciated the release of the SEA-PLM 2024 main regional report, and discussed
measures to promote the education system for the children in Southeast Asia
and plans of the ministry to apply these results as evidence-based guidance.
The event was attended by education
ministers, deputy ministers and representatives of ASEAN countries and other
international organizations such as SEAMEO, ASEAN, SEA-PLM Secretariat,
