Prime Minister joins Turkmenistan’s Neutrality Anniversary and holds talks with President



PRIME Minister U Nyo Saw arrived at Ashgabat International Airport in Turk­menistan yesterday morning, where he was received by Turkmen officials.

 

He then attended the opening cer­emony marking the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Permanent Neutrality, held at the Monument of Neutrality in Ashgabat. The event was attended by invited international leaders, representa­tives from the United Nations and various international organizations, as well as other distinguished guests.

 

The programme began with a flag-raising ceremony, during which the Prime Minister, together with the Turk­men Guard of Honour, saluted the nation­al flag before the ceremony continued as scheduled.

 

Later, the Prime Minister visited an exhibition commemorating the 30th anni­versary of Permanent Neutrality, held at the Turkmenistan Chamber of Com­merce and Industry. There, he viewed displays on Turkmenistan’s political, eco­nomic and social development, traditional handicrafts, digital and AI technologies, and records of international cooperation.

 

He also visited the Ashgabat horse-breeding centre, livestock facilities housing local goats, sheep and cattle, and the National Museum of Turkmenistan.

 

In the evening, Prime Minister U Nyo Saw met President Mr Serdar Ber­dimuhamedov of Turkmenistan. The two leaders held a cordial and open discus­sion on further strengthening bilateral friendship and diplomatic relations, ex­panding cooperation in various sectors, and continuing to advance positive col­laboration on the international stage. — MNA/MKKS
