Funds of emerald green project disbursed in two villages in Mongsat Tsp.

            Mongsat Township Rural Development Department conducted an event to disburse funds of emerald green project in Harkwel village, Mongsat Township, Shan State (East) on 17 March.

            First, an official from Mongsat District Rural Development Department clarified that fund of the emerald green project will be disbursed to extend family businesses and to implement village development works using interest generated from the disbursements. Then, the other officials explained the rules and regulations that fund recipients must follow.

Afterwards, the officials handed over K 43.2 million of the funds to 43 members of the emerald green project committee who are engaged in agricultural, livestock and trade businesses.
