Agriculture Dept to host Myanmar Durian Festival
THE Agriculture Department will host the Myanmar Durian Festival in the second or third week of May 2026, according to the Myanmar Fruit, Flower and Vegetable Producers and Exporters Association (MFVP), with a view to promoting export, penetrating foreign markets under strength of the country’s name, exchanging growing methods, post-harvest technologies, expanding durian market, creating investments and business network, and exploring commercially valued premium-quality durian.
MFVP notified its members to participate in the festival, and the specific location and time for the event will be announced. — NN/KK
