MAI, Indonesia’s Perkasa Flight School to jointly conduct pilot course

THE Myanmar Airways In­ternational (MAI) stated that it has a plan to cooperate with the Perkasa Flight School from Indonesia to conduct a cadet pilot programme as part of cre­ating chances for the individuals wishing to be a pilot in the avia­tion sector.

The programme will com­prise the ground school courses, the practical flight trainings and the simulator training meas­ures in order for a trainee to have adequate knowledge and skills of pilot.

The Cadet Pilot Pro­gramme will provide a system­atic pilot training programme, an internationally standardized curriculum, and opportunities to progress toward becoming a pilot. In addition, trainees who demonstrate strong per­formance during the training period will be given priority con­sideration for appointment as pilots in accordance with MAI’s established recruitment rules and regulations. — Ko Htet/TTA
