MAI, Indonesia’s Perkasa Flight School to jointly conduct pilot course
THE Myanmar Airways International (MAI) stated that it has a plan to cooperate with the Perkasa Flight School from Indonesia to conduct a cadet pilot programme as part of creating chances for the individuals wishing to be a pilot in the aviation sector.
The programme will comprise the ground school courses, the practical flight trainings and the simulator training measures in order for a trainee to have adequate knowledge and skills of pilot.
The Cadet Pilot Programme will provide a systematic pilot training programme, an internationally standardized curriculum, and opportunities to progress toward becoming a pilot. In addition, trainees who demonstrate strong performance during the training period will be given priority consideration for appointment as pilots in accordance with MAI’s established recruitment rules and regulations. — Ko Htet/TTA
