China’s Yunnan Media Group, Myanmar’s Swe Myo Pauk- Phaw Magazine sign media cooperation MoU

THE signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understand­ing (MoU) between Yunnan Media Group of China and the Swe Myo Pauk-Phaw Magazine, which is published monthly in Myanmar language, to cooper­ate on news, content provision, and technology, was held last night at the Myanmar Sport Hotel inside the Thuwunna Stadium in Yangon.

The ceremony was attend­ed by officials from the Printing and Publishing Department un­der the Ministry of Information, Myawady Television, Vice-Pres­ident of Yunnan Media Group Ms Zhang Ying, and other offi­cials, and representatives from the Myanmar-China Coopera­tion Association (MCCA) and Swe Myo Pauk-Phaw Magazine, along with invited guests.

At the ceremony, Vice-President of Yunnan Me­dia Group Ms Zhang Ying, and Daw Khin Khin Lay, Publisher of Swe Myo Pauk-Phaw Mag­azine and Chairperson of the MCCA, signed the MoU in the presence of attendees.

Swe Myo Pauk-Phaw Magazine has been published since 2020 and has launched its own application, while its programme titled “A Varie­ty of Pleasures and Wealth of Knowledge from Swe Myo Pauk-Phaw” is also broadcast on Myawady Television. — MNA/TH
