Disaster teams kick off search and rescue training course




JOINTLY organized by My­anmar Rescue Organization (Kayin State) and Myanmar Fire Brigade (Kayin State), a search and rescue training course for 2026 will be opened, as preparedness for disaster response.


The Myanmar Rescue Or­ganization (Kayin State) said they successfully conducted an advanced search and rescue training in 2020 for the first time with 35 trainees and could pro­vide search and rescue opera­tions in affected areas.


With an expected 50 train­ees, they have now arranged a search and rescue training in 2026 for the second time, in order to respond to disasters in time.
