Monsoon agricultural funds disbursed in Sintgaing Township

            With the aim of upgrading agricultural sector, Myanma Agricultural Development Bank is disbursing agricultural funds to farmers in Sintgaing Township, Kyaukse District, Mandalay starting from 20 May.

            The bank is disbrusing funds at a rate of K 300,000 per acre for paddy cultivation and K 250,000 K per acre for other crops cultivation. Now, a total of K 125.3 million of funds has been disbursed to 100 farmers in five village-tracts. The agricultural loans carry an annual interest rate of 5 percent and must be repaid no later than 12 February, 2027.
