Myanmar Embassy to Thailand Wins “Excellent Organization” Award
THE Myanmar Embassy to Thailand has
received the “Excellent Organization” award for its outstanding collaboration
in helping and ensuring justice to victims in Thailand.
The Thai government recognized Myanmar
Embassy’s efforts in helping ensure justice for affected persons, including
Myanmar nationals in Thailand, through multifaceted assistance, and conferred
the “Excellent Organization” honorary award at the Programme of the National
Event: 24 Years of Prompt, Inclusive and Equitable Assistance to Victims held
on 6 May at IMPACT Forum, Nonthaburi Province, organized by the Thai Ministry
of Justice.
Thailand’s Prime Minister Mr Anutin
Charnvirakul delivered a remark and awarded organizations and individuals
excellent in assisting victims under the justice system. Among foreign
embassies, the Myanmar Embassy, along with the Laos Embassy and the Embassy of
the Republic of Korea, which have worked closely with Thailand, were selected
to receive the “Excellent Organization” honorary award.
Myanmar Ambassador to Thailand U Zaw Zaw
Soe, on behalf of the Myanmar Embassy, received the award. The embassy’s
consistent efforts to ensure justice and assistance for Myanmar nationals affected
