Myanmar to deepen industrial, investment cooperation with SCO member states
MYANMAR will cooperate with China’s Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and its member states in the industrial and investment sectors, said Myanmar Ambassador to China U Zaw Win Myint.
The Ambassador made that remark while delivering a speech at the Green and Sustainable Development Forum held in Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, China, on 28-30 April.
Green and sustainable development is crucial, and Myanmar is undertaking efforts in renewable energy, environmental conservation, and enriching natural resources. Myanmar will be working together with neighbouring China to achieve its environmental conservation and sustainable development goals, he added.
Through regional cooperation, the country will accelerate efforts in carbon reduction and promote a green environment. As China is a key partner of Myanmar, both sides will collaborate on renewable energy and foster a sustainable green environment.
