Rural road construction in Wayonetaw village, Yedashe Tsp. inspected

            Yedashe Township Department of Rural Development is implementing a rural road construction under the 100-Day Plan in Wayonetaw village, Yedashe Township, Taungoo District, Bago Region. On 12 May, officials from the Township Department conducted an inspection at the construction site.

            During the inspection, the officials and responsible staff along with village development committee members inspected the road measuring 354 ft in length, 12 ft in width and six inches in volume.  Then, an official from the Township Department urged the community leaders and local residents to complete the project during 100-Day timeframe and keep maintanence in line with guidelines.

            The project is being conducted with K 15 million of funds of VDP and K 5 million in public contribution with close supervision of departmental officials starting from May.  Upon completion, it will provide swift and smooth transportation for a total of 597 residents from 137 households in the village.
