183,893 Trees Planted in Meiktila District

Meiktila, June 10

The Dry Zone Greening Department is carrying out annual tree-planting projects across 13 districts in Myanmar’s central dry zone to enhance greenery and improve the local ecosystem.

The department will continue maintaining the planted trees during the rainy season through activities such as replacing dead seedlings, weeding, soil loosening and mounding, and the application of fertilizers to promote healthy growth and survival.— Chanthar (Meiktila)
