Essential Foodstuffs Sold at Subsidized Prices in Paung Township

Essential food items were sold at subsidized prices at Mingalar Market in Ka Da Ward, Paung Township, Mon State this morning.

The items included eggs, sold at four for K 1,500, and palm oil at K 7,236 per viss. The programme aims to help ease the cost of living by making basic commodities available at affordable prices and will continue on an ongoing basis.

The event was attended by Assistant Director of the Township Development Committee U Htun Htun Oo, market committee members, and ward administrators.— Mon Malay (IPRD)
