Nyaung U District Holds 2026 Rainy Season Tree Planting Festival

Nyaung U, June 30

The Mandalay Electricity Supply Corporation and the Nyaung U District Electric Power Office held the 2026 Rainy Season Tree Planting Festival at 8:00 a.m. on June 30, with the participation of personnel from Nyaung U, Kyaukpadaung, Bagan, Meikhtila, and district electric power substations.

Led by District Electricity Manager U Pyae Son, employees planted 136 fruit and shade trees, including jackfruit, guava, mango, eugenia, and eucalyptus, at designated sites to promote a greener and more attractive environment.

District Electricity Manager U Pyae Son also inspected the tree-planting activities and encouraged staff participating in the rainy season campaign. — Dipalin
