PyinOoLwin’s RBF project implementation inspected
THE Department of Rural Development under the Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development inspected the implementation of the Rural Business Fund (RBF) Project in Naunghlaing Village in PyinOoLwin Township yesterday.
Head U Set Naing Tun of the PyinOoLwin District Department of Rural Development and officials met members of the village project committee and inspected the implementation of project activities. They also examined whether financial records had been systematically maintained and whether project activities were being carried out in accordance with guidelines set out in the project manual, and provided necessary instructions.
The Rural Business Fund (RBF) Project in Naunghlaing Village has been under implementation since the 2025-2026 financial year. Under the project, K30 million has been disbursed to 20 members of four livelihood groups engaged in small-scale agricultural activities, namely Pyaewa Group, Piti Group, Shwin Pyone Group and Chan Thar Group. RBF loans are intended to provide necessary capital for farmers, livestock breeders, producers and small, medium and micro enterprises in the village. — Cho Than Nyunt (Rural)
