Thai Festival 2026 returns to Yangon with food, celebrities, T-Pop and exciting prizes
THE Royal Thai Embassy in Yangon invites the public to experience Thai Festival 2026 in Yangon on 27-28 June 2026 at Novotel Yangon Max.
The festival will feature 65 booths showcasing authentic Thai food and beverages, health and wellness products, cosmetics, fashion items, tourism services, and GMMTV artistes’ merchandise. Admission to the exhibition area is completely free.
Visitors can also enjoy a wide range of entertainment and cultural activities throughout the two-day event, including live cooking demonstrations, cultural performances, and special appearances by popular Myanmar celebrities Pyi Nyein Han, Poe Mahme Thar, and Oak Soe Khant.
One of the festival’s biggest highlights is the live Semi-Final and Final Round of T-Pop Star Chal-lenge, Myanmar Season 3, where eight finalists from across Myanmar will compete for the championship title and a grand prize of US$3,200. Audiences who have stage activities tickets will also have the opportunity to meet renowned Thai artistes and celebrities, including Ice Sarunyu, Kang Korn, Prae Chanaa, Diamond Narakorn, Surf-Java, and fan-favourite duo Boun-Prem.
Festival-goers can also participate in the Lucky Draw campaign to win exciting prizes such as Yangon-Bangkok round-trip air tickets, hotel staycation vouchers, televisions, Thai artiste merchandise, and premium Thai products.
Shoppers will additionally have a chance to win exclusive Lucky Seat front-row tickets for the T-Pop Star Challenge performances.
Thai Festival 2026 in Yangon will take place on 27–28 June 2026 from 9 am to 6 pm at Novotel Yangon Max. Everyone is welcome to join this unique celebration of Thai culture, entertainment, food, and lifestyle.
