Chin State Chief Minister discusses rehabilitation activities

CHIN State Chief Minister Dr Wong Hsun Thang pre­sided over a coordination meeting on rehabilitation and reconstruction meas­ures in Chin State yester­day.

After the remarks of the chief minister, Deputy Minister for Construction U Myo Myint clarified the return of civil servants and people in Falam, Tiddim and Tonzang townships, reopening of schools, offic­es and municipal markets, distribution of water, elec­trification and discussions of government staff, town elders and religious lead­ers.

The participants also reported on the formation of the rehabilitation and reconstruction committee and the duties of the com­mittee. — District IPRD/ KTZH
