Pyinmana Township Holds 2026 Monsoon Tree Planting Ceremony

Pyinmana Township held its 2026 monsoon tree planting ceremony this morning at Post-Primary School (U Kye) in Pyinmana Township, Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory.

The ceremony was attended by U Myo Min Soe, Chairman of the Pyinmana Township Management and Administration Committee, township-level officials, members of the Women's Affairs Federation, teachers and students.

In his opening remarks, U Myo Min Soe highlighted the importance of tree planting during the rainy season before planting a commemorative mahogany tree. He later toured the planting site to observe participants as they planted a total of 1,210 saplings, including teak, pyinkadoe, padauk, mahogany, seinpan and mezali trees.—Township IPRD
