Township-level training course opens for Dawbon’s ten-household leaders
A township-level training course for ten-household leaders was jointly organized by the Dawbon Township Maternal and Child Welfare Association and the Township Public Health Department at the township maternity clinic at 1 pm on 20 July.
At the event, Chairperson of the Botahtaung District Maternal and Child Welfare Supervisory Committee Daw Khine Khine Shein delivered the opening remarks. Township Maternal and Child Welfare Supervisory Committee Chairperson Daw May Zin Phyo gave a welcome speech. Township Public Health Officer Dr Myo Myo Khine explained the purpose of the training. Health education pamphlets were then distributed to the participants by officials. Trainers gave lessons on healthcare knowledge for the ten-household leaders and shared information about traditional medicine.
A total of 70 trainees attended the one-day course. The training aimed to improve their understanding of healthcare so they can apply the knowledge in their communities and pass on health information to locals. — Chit Su Wai (IPRD)/KTZH
