Township-level training course opens for Dawbon’s ten-household leaders




A township-level training course for ten-household leaders was jointly or­ganized by the Dawbon Township Maternal and Child Welfare Association and the Township Public Health Department at the township maternity clinic at 1 pm on 20 July.


At the event, Chair­person of the Botahtaung District Maternal and Child Welfare Superviso­ry Committee Daw Khine Khine Shein delivered the opening remarks. Township Maternal and Child Welfare Superviso­ry Committee Chairper­son Daw May Zin Phyo gave a welcome speech. Township Public Health Officer Dr Myo Myo Khine explained the purpose of the training. Health ed­ucation pamphlets were then distributed to the participants by officials. Trainers gave lessons on healthcare knowledge for the ten-household leaders and shared information about traditional medicine.


A total of 70 trainees attended the one-day course. The training aimed to improve their under­standing of healthcare so they can apply the knowl­edge in their communities and pass on health infor­mation to locals. — Chit Su Wai (IPRD)/KTZH
