Building Dept bids for tenders for Toll Plaza construction at new Gyaing (Kawkareik) Bridge

THE Buildings Depart­ment of the Ministry of Construction has invited open tenders for the pro­curement of construction materials to build a toll plaza on the new Gyaing (Kawkareik) Bridge un­der the 2026-2027 Finan­cial Year’s Union Budget, according to the Special Building Task Force 13 of the department.

The toll plaza will be constructed on the Ka­wkareik side to facilitate bridge toll collection.

The deadline for sub­mission is at 4:30 pm on 24 August. Bids will be opened at the Kayin State Court in front of the Myan­ma Economic Bank. The specific opening date will be announced later.
