Frontline Tatmadaw troops receive warm welcome

FRONTLINE Tatmadaw members returning from security and region­al stability operations were warmly welcomed at local military units in Yangon Region’s Hmawby, Shwepy­itha and Hlegu townships, and Bago Region’s Phayagyi, on Wednesday and Thursday.

The ceremonies were attended by Yangon Command Commander Brig-Gen Tin Min Latt and Southern Command Commander Maj-Gen Soe Kyaw Htet, respectively, alongside departmental officials, military of­ficers and families, police and veter­an organization members, artistes, traditional dance troupes, teachers, students, and local communities.

They welcomed back the victo­rious Tatmadaw members with jas­mine sprigs of Eugenia and present­ed cash prizes to the returnees. The event included traditional dance and music performances. — MNA/KTZH
