Kyain-Seikkyi’s MSY village project operations inspected
OFFICIALS conducted a field inspection on the morning of 26 August to monitor the progress of operations carried out under the Mya Sein Yaung (MSY) Village Project fund in Pulein Village. The project is being implemented by the Department of Rural Development, Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development, in Kyain-Seikkyi Township, Kyain-Seikkyi District, Kayin State, aiming to boost family income, create job opportunities, and enhance local product outputs.
Head U Min Wai Phyo of the Kyain-Seikkyi District Office, along with staff members, reviewed the implementation of income-generating activities funded by the project and checked the recording of project statistics and accounts, providing necessary guidance.
In Pulein Village, a total of 78 project members engaged in agriculture, livestock breeding, trading, and small-scale manufacturing have been disbursed a loan of K61 million from the Mya Sein Yaung (Emerald Green) Village Project fund, successfully implementing family income-generating businesses. — Ko Ko Soe (Rural)
