MNPIFER Union Minister receives President of Russia- Myanmar Association

UNION Minister for Na­tional Planning, Invest­ment and Foreign Econom­ic Relations U Aung Kyaw Hoe received a delegation led by Mr Bulochnikov Anatoly Mikhailovich, President of the Rus­sia-Myanmar Association for Friendship and Cooper­ation, yesterday at Office 1 of the Ministry of National Planning, Investment and Foreign Economic Rela­tions in Nay Pyi Taw.

The two sides openly exchanged views and dis­cussed matters concern­ing the status of the Mem­orandum of Cooperation on Business and Investment Cooperation between My­anmar and Russia, the pri­ority sectors and areas to be promoted to increase investment, the status of exemptions and relief measures issued by the Directorate of Investment and Company Administra­tion (DICA), and matters related to facilitating and providing protection for investment activities.

Senior officials from the Ministry of National Planning, Investment and Foreign Economic Relations and members of the Russia-Myanmar Association for Friend­ship and Cooperation also attended the meeting. — MNPIFER
