Rubber growers urged to pay land rent by 30 Sept
THE Thaton Township Forest Department notified private rubber growers operating inside forest reserve areas in Thaton and Paung townships to pay outstanding land rental fees for the 2026-2027 financial year by the end of September.
The notice applies to authorized private growers in the Hpapein, Danu, and Kalamataung reserve areas in Thaton Township and the Kalamataung and Mottama reserve areas in Paung Township.
Late payments beyond the financial year will incur penalties. Growers are urged to settle their dues promptly at the Thaton Township Forest Department, the department warned. — NN/KK
