Educational supplies donated to youth development training centre

AN Apple Authorized Reseller, XtraSure, do­nated educational sup­plies and medicines for 167 children and youth at a youth development training centre called ‘The Home for youths longing for loving arms’ in Bago Region on 15 September.

The donation is a part of XtraSure’s CRS programme, Towards the Good Days and with its initial funding of K1 million and contributions by the staff and custom­ers’ sure benefits points, educational supplies worth more than K12.2 million were provided.

“We initiated this campaign to turn every customer purchase into a meaningful social im­pact through our CRS programme, Towards the Good Days. I’m very hap­py that the contributions of our customers and the prayers they wrote themselves have made this donation warmer and more meaningful, and I’m very delighted that it has created oppor­tunities for children’s ed­ucation,” said XtraSure’s spokesperson Ko Htun Myint Zaw.

Established in 2019, the youth development training centre teaches vocational skills such as computer, sewing, sing­ing, dancing, cooking and handicrafts, in addition to formal education. — MT/ZS
