Rural development projects under way in Hopong and Hsihseng townships
THE Department of Rural Road Development under the Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development is implementing regional development projects in Hopong and Hsihseng townships of the Pa-O Self-Administered Zone in southern Shan State during the 2026-2027 financial year, using Union and State funds.
The projects include paving the road from the Union Highway through rural roads in Hopong and Hsihseng townships in addition to constructing the second section of a 200-foot-long reinforced concrete bridge. Engineer-in-Chief U Kyaw Kyaw Htwe of the Department of Rural Road Development in Nay Pyi Taw, Shan State Department of Rural Road Development Director (Civil) U Min Swe and member of the Pa-O Self-Administered Zone Leading Body U Khun Nyo Maung inspected the projects yesterday morning.The officials reviewed the progress of the projects and inspected the implementation works at the project sites. — Township IPRD/KZL
