Vice-President-led Myanmar delegation returns from China




ACCOMPANIED by mem­bers of the Myanmar del­egation, Vice-President U Nyo Saw attended the 23rd China-ASEAN Expo and the 23rd China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit held in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autono­mous Region, the People’s Republic of China. He de­parted Guangzhou, China, by air yesterday afternoon and arrived back in Nay Pyi Taw in the evening.


The delegation led by the Vice-President was wel­comed back at Nay Pyi Taw International Airport by Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Kan Myint Than, Depu­ty Minister at the Office of the President U Khin Latt, members of the Nay Pyi Taw Council and officials from the Chinese Embassy in Myanmar.


On the evening of 18 September, the Vice-Pres­ident met Myanmar and Chinese businesspeople at the Myanmar Trade Rep­resentative Office in Nan­ning, where they discussed the further enhancement of bilateral business coop­eration. During the visit, the Vice-President also visited XPENG and GAC automobile manufacturing companies to observe their vehicles and production pro­cesses. During the visits, company officials conducted the Vice-President round the auto manufacturing pro­cesses. — MNA/TH
