Additional Vaccinations Administered to Children in Tonzang

Additional doses of measles and rubella vaccines were administered to children aged 9 months to under 5 years at the Township Maternal and Child Health Department in Tonzang Township, Tedim District, Chin State, on the morning of October 20.

The vaccination campaign was conducted by Dr. Ngo Zam Mung, the doctor in charge of Tonzang Township Public Hospital, together with health staff.

U Soe Nyein Htet, chairman of the Township Management and Administration Committee, along with heads of township-level departments, visited the department to observe and encourage the vaccination activities.

A total of 275 children aged 9 months to under 5 years received additional doses of measles and rubella vaccines during the campaign. The recipients comprised 145 boys and 130 girls.— Township (IPRD)
