War veterans need to nurture their offspring to have higher living standard with peace and prosperity along their lives: Senior General
January 24
War veterans must
conserve their environs as the Tatmadaw has created housings and job
opportunities, said Chairman of the State Administration Council
Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing in
meeting with war veterans and families at Advanced War Veterans’ Housing
(Mandalay) yesterday afternoon.
In his greetings, the
Senior General said he has been striving for convenience of socio-economic
development of war veterans and families as mush as possible. He expressed his
delightedness for convenience of war veterans and families residing at the
housing.
The government is
carrying out rehabilitation for businesses and all situations damaged by
terrorists. Depending on the budget, the government is fulfilling the welfare
of Tatmadaw members and families. To do so, Tatmadaw-owned businesses paid
necesary taxes to the State. All functions were undertaken under the law
without seeking chances. The profits from these businesses are being spent on
welfare tasks for Tatmadaw members, war veterans and families.
War veterans must
conserve their environs as the Tatmadaw has created housings and job
opportunities. Thay all need to avoid the indulgence with individual conscience
and manage their offsprings to live under the religioud advice.
The unity is very
important. Tatmadaw members are born of the people and tey are a part of the
State. Every country priotitizes the Tatmadaw discharging the State defence
duty but those seeking the political profit utilize the national political
endeavours of the Tatmadaw in the political arena.
War veterans need to
nurture their offspring to have higher living standard with peace and
prosperity along their lives. They have to encourage offspring to learn
education.
The Senior Genral
presented rice, cooking oil and foodstuff produced by Tatmadaw factory for war
veterans and families from the housing to a war vetean. Then, the Senior
General attended to their needs.
After the ceremony, the
Senior General cordially greeted war veterans and families and visited the
housing by car.—MNA
