MoTC Union Minister inspects Diesel Locomotive Factory (Ywahtaung), Myitnge Carriage and Wagon Factory, Zeepingyi-PyinOoLwin route

UNION Minister for Transport and Communications Admiral Tin Aung San inspected the Diesel Locomotive Factory of Myanma Railways in Sagaing Region yesterday.

 

During the visit, the Union minister provided instructions regarding the work completion on time, the security system and the welfare of staff.

 

The Union Minister then looked into the training courses conducted in the factory compound, practical section and workplace. He went to Ywahtaung Home for the Aged and donated cash after providing the necessary things.

 

He then visited Ywahtaung Railway Hospital and inspected the medical services for staff and family members, medicines and medical supplies. The Union minister and party then inspected Myitnge Railway Hospital and provided cash to the patients.

 

On arrival at the Myitnge Carriage and Wagon Factory of Myanma Railways, the Union minister urged all those responsible to build modern carriages in the future with their own techniques, purchase the materials at home using Myanmar kyats, and import essential materials, take care of the staff’s welfare, security and occupational safety.

 

The Union minister also inspected Concrete Sleeper Factory (Myitnge) and stressed the need to meet the fixed standard.

 

He then inspected Zeepingyi railway station with RGC, and then the PyinOoLwin railway station on Mandalay-Lashio railway section. — MNA
