Construction work of rural road in Mongnai Township completed 100%

With the aim of ensuring swift flow of commodity and boosting the socio-economic status of rural people, construction works of rural road was implemented in Hwehei Village, Mongnai Township in Shan State(South) and now, it was fully completed.

A gravel road measuring six miles and five furlong long, 12 ft. wide and nine inches thick was built by a tender winning company with Ks. 38.18 million of DRD’s allotted funds in 2022-2023 FY, according to an official from DRD.

The road it will benefit farmland of 160 local people from 26 households in the village and helping them transport rural products to the markets in a timely manner.—Myo Nyunt Shwe (Mongnai)
