A ceremony to drive stake for construction of a new school building was held in the compound of the sub-Basic Education Middle School in Myoma ward in Mongpan Township, Shan State (South) this morning.
Buddhist monks, chairman of the Township Administration council U Han Zaw Myint, the Township Police chief Police Major Min Swe, staff officer of the Township Education officer’s office U Phone Maung and headmistress of the school attended the event and drove the stakes at the designated places of the construction site and sprayed it with scented water.
The two-story school facility measuring 210 ft. in length and 30 ft. in width will be constructed by a tender winning company with the Union fund.—Mongpan(IPRD)
