DRD-sponsored welding training course concludes in Kyaunggon Twsp.

A ceremony to wrap up a vocational welding training course, organized by the Township Department of Rural Development was held at the meeting room of the DRD in Kyauggon Township, Ayeyarwady Region on 3 August.

At the event, member-2 of the Township Administration Council U Tin Maung and an official from the Township Cooperative Department delivered the concluding speeches. After that, an official from the Township DRD clarified the purposes of the training course and urged the trainees to practically apply the lessons learned in the training to generate more income in their families.

This was followed by the presentation of the completion certificate, outstanding trainee awards and certificate of honor to the trainees, outstanding trainees and course instructors by member-2 of the Township Administration Council and officials.

The one-month training course which ran from July 4 to August 3 was attended by 30 trainees from 16 villages in the Township, according to an official from the Township DRD.

With a view to creating job opportunities for rural people, the Township Department of Rural Development organized a welding training course in the Township.—Tay Zar Lin
