Elderly people in Nyaung-U Township receive cash aid

 

Nyaung-U, 4 August

A charitable group, identified as Hmiawei philanthropic group provided cash aid to senior citizens aged 75 and above in Myinkapa Village in Nyaung-U Township, Mandalay Region on a door to door basis this morning.

Under this cash aid program, a total of 20 elderly people in the village received Ks. 10000 each, according to a member of philanthropic organization.

Cash aid and foodstuffs have been provided to persons with disabilities, senior citizens, and people with irregular income amid the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic since August, 2021 in Nyaung-U Township by Hmiawei charitable group.—Ye Win Naing(Nyaung-U)
