Construction of concrete road in Yanbye Township completed 100%

Officials from the Township Department of Rural Development inspected the completion of a concrete paving work of road in Tinpyin Village in Yanbye Township of Kyaukpyu District, Rakhine State, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.

During the inspection tour, official led by U Aung Thet Oo of the District Department of Rural Development met with members of village development committee and stressed the importance of quality construction and maintenance.

The road which is 500 ft. in length, 10 ft. in width and six inches in thickness was constructed by local people at a cost of Ks. 25.00 million including Ks. 10 million of DRD’s funds allocated in 2022-2023 fiscal year and Ks. 2.5 million contributed by local people and now, it was completed 100 percent, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.—Kyaw Soe
