Vocational electrical wiring course opens in Thabaung Twsp.

With the aims of boosting the family income and creating job opportunities for rural people, the Township Department of Rural Development organized a vocational electrical wiring course at the meeting hall of DRD in the town of Thabaung, Pathein District of  Ayeyarwady Region on 21 November.

At the event, staff officer of Pathein District DRD U Htay Naing and chairman of Thabaung Township Administration Council U Min Aey Ya Htike delivered speeches. Next, an official from the Township DRD clarified the purpose of the training course and provided teaching aid materials for the training. Then, a course instructor introduced the subject to be taught to the trainees during the training.

The 30-day training course which runs from November 21 to December 20 is being attended by 30 trainees from villages in the Township. Staff officer of Pathein District DRD U Htay Naing, chairman of Thabaung Township Administration Council U Min Aey Ya Htike and departmental officials attended the event.—Chit Oo Ko(DRD)
